The Montreux Jazz Festival is well known across the world for its stunning music festival every year. Last year, they happen to complete 50 years of the festival. And yet again, it is here with a bang to surprise its music lover’s community to celebrate the 51st Edition. Its celebration time for Jazz Lovers!
But, wait a minute? What is the surprise? This time Montreux Jazz is taking the experience to a new level for its music lover’s community with an app for the Insiders. So do you “Wish to be an Insider?”
With our growing base in Switzerland, We are Going Sky High!
We are really happy to announce that Montreux Jazz Festival and SwissHelios have collaborated to make this experience. And how is that? We have teamed up with Montreux Jazz Festival to build an exclusive mobile app: Montreux Jazz Insider.
They found SwissHelios to be the ideal partner to develop this mobile application. But the project got challenging once we learnt about its delivery. Despite the tight deadline, the Montreux Jazz Insider App was successfully launched at a dedicated event that took place on 14th June, 2017 at the EPFL near Lausanne. We were awe-struck with the response at the event.
The app aims to provide the fans and followers of Montreux Jazz Festival through intuitive interface. The app will offer the Insiders with exclusive information and updates, benefits, media preview and much more. Julio Salgado, CEO SwissHelios LLC, shared this experience with us after using the Montreux Insider App and his visit to the event as the Insider.
“After I downloaded the app to check out the benefits, I was being sure that l click fast to register for the events and get the chance to be selected. It became an addictive experience. And while I was attending the show, I was always checking updates in the Insider App to know what is coming next!
Also, the people and visitors at the event found the app very interesting as they got a chance to interact, talk about music and their interests, get an autograph from their very favorite, the Legendary Quincy Jones.
While at the event, it was an amazing experience to be invited for the ride in a hot air balloon over the lake with the view of the French Alps and the beautiful city of Montreux.”
Our Development Team Learnt Much!
The team was really happy with the launch of the product. When the project started, they were excited as they were building an app for a well-known brand in the music industry. The challenge was to communicate with the design company Trivial Mass and achieve the pixel perfect implementation in the look and feel.
Building User Friendly Backend
We had to integrate features that would allow the user to browse and register for various events. We also integrated a feature that would enable the user to invite other users to the Insider Music Community. Other integrations includes admin control, list of users, edit images/ content, post news and push notifications.
The Android development team and iOS development team made sure that they delivered in time along with bug fixes and full proof testing.
